How should the lighting in a massive 25-meter-high factory building be safely and efficiently maintained? For Beijing China Coal Group, one of the leading energy enterprises, finding a reliable answer to this question was crucial. They operate a coal mine production and an ore washing workshop in Inner Mongolia. Facing severe lighting maintenance difficulties due to the building’s extreme height and harsh working environment, they turned to AMZHO for a professional industrial lighting lift system.
The Challenge: Extreme Height & Severe Dust Accumulation
Industrial workshops, especially in the coal and mining sectors, present unique maintenance hurdles that standard equipment simply cannot handle. The Inner Mongolia workshop faced three critical pain points:
Extreme Ceiling Height: The factory ceiling stands at a staggering 25 meters. Using scaffolding or traditional aerial work platforms (like scissor lifts) indoors is not only astronomically expensive but also highly dangerous and space-consuming.
Heavy Dust Environment: The primary operation is fine coal washing. The massive amount of coal dust generated quickly coats the factory lighting fixtures.
Reduced Production Efficiency: The thick layer of dust significantly reduces the lux (brightness) of the daily lighting. In a busy production environment, poor visibility directly impacts worker safety and overall production efficiency, failing to meet strict industrial lighting specifications.
The AMZHO Solution: Heavy-Duty Lowering System
Understanding that the client needed frequent cleaning to maintain brightness without halting production, AMZHO’s engineering team proposed a specialized industrial high bay light lifter paired with high-performance LED high bay lights.
24-Meter Lowering Capacity:
We customized the steel-wire motorized hoist to provide an actual lifting and lowering stroke of 24 meters. This specific configuration brings the high bay lights precisely from the 25-meter ceiling down to a safe, reachable ground level (1 meter above the floor).
Simplified Cleaning Process:
Instead of sending workers 25 meters into the air, the maintenance crew can now lower the fixtures via a remote control, safely wipe away the coal dust, inspect the bulbs, and hoist them back into position within minutes.
